Beautiful Hands!

Every girl loves that feeling of gorgeous salon nails. It instantly makes you feel so much better in yourself, If only we had the time and the money to go to the salon as often as we would like! When I get my nails manicured they are damaged within a week from typing so I now look after my nails myself so I am going to share with you my manicure guide that will leave you with salon nails for a fraction of the price.
1. First you to clean your hands and nails in warm water
2. Make sure you have removed all your nail varnish. Start with the base of your nail and make your way to the tip. Keep doing this until your nails are back to their natural colour.
3. If your nails are in need of a trim or reshape you will need a pair of fingernail clippers. Carefully trim your nails and do not cut them to short.
4. You now need to file your nails to make them smooth and get rid of any rough surfaces. When filing your nails you should file from the corner of the nail towards the centre.
5. The dreaded bit………removing your cuticles, your cuticle is layer of skin at the bottom of your nail. Never attempt this without softening the cuticles in warm water, then gently push back your cuticles with your cuticle remover until your fingers are cuticle free.
6. The fun bit now choosing your colour, there are so many to choose from but if you are looking for a colour to wear Monday to Friday and I would suggest going for Black, Beige or Brown. These colour’s tend to go with every outfit. If you are looking for a selection of nail varnishes I am a huge fan of Look Fantastic!
7. Now you need to apply the nail varnish. If you do not have a steady it may be worth getting one of your girlfriends to come over to help you with this, You need to start at the base of your fingernail and in long strokes towards the tip of the nail. I always seem to go wrong on the first nail so make sure you have a cotton bud to hand to remove any excess nail polish. Be patient and wait for your nails to dry, I usually wait around 3 minutes.
8. Once completely dry add some hand cream and sit back and admire your perfect nails!

I have been trying your eight step guide for about a week now and my nails are looking good. I would have to say my favourite colour is beige. You are right it does make you feel a lot better in yourself.
