How to make your lipgloss last longer…

I love having glossy lips when I am on a night out but obviously when I am on a night out I also love to drink! But as soon as I have a few sips of vino by lipgloss likes to stick to the glass and come off my lips.

So if like myself this happens to you the trick is to prepare you lips by layering up so your lipgloss stays put.

Before you go out fill your entire lips in a lip liner that matches the colour of your lips. Then apply a neutral lipstick. This gives your lipstick something to hold onto so it doesn’t grab onto your glass of wine instead.

Easy!!!

How my eyes lit up when I come across a picture of the new Urban Decay lipgloss with a hot guy in the cap and it gets better…this cutie strips to his undies whilst you apply your lip gloss!

I think they are fab and a definite must have item for every girl who wants a bit of eye candy to look at!

Dazzerling smile on a budget

If you want to achieve a smile as bright and straight as Simon Cowell but don’t want to re-mortgage to be able to afford it there is now a new treatment called Composite Restoration at only £250.00!

I have had my teeth lasered white on several occasions but after hearing about this treatment I might try this one next time. The only thing that puts me off is that you have to have a needle, something I have a bit of a phobia over but pain = beauty. It sounds a really straight forward procedure though you have a jab and the dentist matches translucent bonding to your individual teeth, building up layers of colour to help restore you natural whiteness and Hollywood shine. It gets better your new tooth is then molded to the right shape, perfect if you have any cracks in your teeth and then you are off home. All this in one day…perfect!

Beautiful lips…

I love Ted Baker clothes, especially there dresses and coats but have never looked over there beauty range.

When I was in Ted Baker the other week I just could not leave the beautiful compact lippy kit. It looks sooo cute and for only £6.36 you get an oval mirror, double-ended brush, 4 stunning colours and a glossy topcoat for the ultimate shine.

I have tried nearly every colour on separate occasions now and it stays in place and doesn’t need to be re-applied on the hour!

Worst Lipstick goes to…

Estee Lauder! Okay, I am a sucker for trying out new products and come across the Estee Lauder beauty counter when I was out shopping and having spent ages nosing around went for one of there lipsticks.

Now I really wish that instead of testing the lipstick on the back of my hand I actually tried it on my lips. It was the dullest lipstick I have ever bought! I went for Radiance All Day Lipstick that on the back of my hand was a glamorous red colour when it come to putting it on my lips it was terrible, has no shine and wears off in about an hour…great purchase for £14.68!

The packaging isn’t anything special to so it has already made its way to my bin and in future I will make sure I test a lipstick before I buy one!

Kissable, Soft Lips!

England’s cold weather is playing havoc with my lips and they have been chapped everyday, not pleasant at all and definitely not attractive.

I have been piling the Vaseline on every hour and still my lips have been cracked. I am not slating Vaseline as it does work usually but recently my lips have been that badly chapped that it hasn’t.

After looking at every possible lip barm in Boots I went for Blistex and what a good choice! This barm works wonders and within 3 days my lips were healed. You feel the effects immediately and will not have the smallest of cracks in your lips if you use this everyday. I can’t believe that I have been suffering for weeks when this little beauty was secretly hiding in Boots. My lips are now really soft and I have no painful cracked corners. I don’t think I will ever find a lipbalm that matches up to the moisturising abilities of Blistex.

Blistex will definitely be a must-have-item for my handbag for whenever my lips are feeling dry. Not only does it heal lips it looks lovely on top of your lipstick.

Say good bye to dry, chapped lips and hello to luscious, kissable lips!!!

Kissable lips…

Not long until Christmas now so its time to pull out the mistletoe and kiss as many hotties as possible!

At the moment I do seem to have a secret obsession with lip plumping glosses! So once again I have purchased yet another lip plumper! I think it must be because I am so intrigued if some gloss can really pump up your lips without having my lips injected with cow fat…nice! So if I can find an easy way to do it and it works, bonus!

Anyway less of my rant what you really have to know about is that I have found one that WORKS! Ok so it’s only temporary and does sting a little but wow does it make your lips look kissable!

I bought a very small stick of Too Faced Lip Injection and I don’t think I will ever need to try any other lip pumper again it has cured by obsession! I only add a small amount to my lips and within the seconds you feel a pulse in your lips and a slight tingle and it is pretty amazing the difference it makes to the fullness of your lips. Within a minute you will have plumped up lips and the colour is fab with a slight pink and really glossy!

Before I bought this lip plumper I have never heard of Too Faced, I come across there very cute website and thought I would give it a try at only $18.50, it would be rude to not buy one! Now I will definitely be going back and trying out more of there make-up products!

So for all you thinned lipped women out there wanting the sexiest of pouts this Christmas you have to use Two Faced!

Pout like Angelina Jolie

For all the people who envy Angelina Jolie and yearned to have a pair like them I have put together a few tips on how to get yours looking fuller to rival her!

Fuller lips for most girlies are on of our sought after assets. A plump pout looks sensous, adds the oomph factor and makes you look more feminine.

Its simple, all you need to do is exfoliate your lips daily with warm water and a flannel and wipe back and forth for around a minute. Apply a good lip plumper, I still a huge fan of Dior, it works wonders for plumping up my lips. Apply a small amount of powder across your lips and my best secret is to add a bit of cayenne this plumps and colours your lips as it makes the blood flow increase! Lip liner is great too just make sure you match it to your skin tone as closely as you can. Lat but not least drink plenty of water.

Or if you are daring and will take a risk of having a trout pout you could go for lip augmentation surgery where implants are inserted into your lips and make them look plump or go for collagen.

Black lipstick is the new red

The Yves Saint Laurent show left me pretty speechless after looking over the pictures. Stefano Pilati showcased his new designs and black lipstick is going to be the new red?!?

I don’t know how the models managed to pull off the pout of death look. Surely this is not ideal and is going to make kissing a messy affair.

I am more intrigued how many people are going to be sporting this trend – would you wear black lipstick?

The YSL’s Pur Black gloss hasn’t been shipped yet but you can pre-order. I know I will be not rushing to buy one any time soon as there is no way I could pull this off without venturing into Morticia Addam’s territory!

If you are a wanting to try it out and venture to the dark side but do not want to be mistaken for a zombie, I would recommend going for dramatic eyes and bold lips in a wine colour.

Out of office glamour

If you are heading out straight from the office a quick fix to add instant glamour is to add red lipstick.

Red lipstick will always be a beauty staple – always in fashion, whatever the season.

Men find red lips hard to resist. Over the years we have learnt that red lipstick = sex appeal and glamour!

The best color red to go for is a shout-out shade. It is all about being bold and carrying off even a really bright colour with confidence. Make sure that you apply the lipstick correct though and go for a shade for your age as if wrongly applied can make you look washed out or tarty.

Fair Skinned: Go for a brownish red
