Nail Varnish Removers

All nail varnish’s are made to do the same trick even though they can vary in prices. I have started buying Sainsbury’s own brand and I personally find it just as good and effective as the branded more expensive range.

The only negative about this product is that It can make your fingers a little dry but nothing a tad of hand cream can cure.

It is very easy to use and requires no tough scrubbing over the area to get the polish off. The best thing to do is soak a piece of cotton wool in the remover and one wipe should remove your nail polish.

For anyone needing an effective nail polish remover, that is a bargain at less than a £1, it’s certainly worth a try.

Party Feet

I bought Scholl Party Feet under recommendation of my friends, every time I go out I am guaranteed to have a good moan half way through the night as my feet are hurting and after to many vodkas walking home with my shoes in my hand as my feet are in agony. They were constantly raving about how good these small cushions are so I thought why not, it is worth giving them a try and I regret not using them sooner!

Before I went out, I fitted the cushion to my shoe (try this a couple of hours before you go I had the taxi impatiently waiting outside as i tried to fit them) and I was pain free all night. These are perfect for people who have a long way to walk, or a night out on the tiles planned, they really do work!

It can be a nightmare trying to find a deodorant, especially when you will be wearing that “little black dress”. Everyone must of at least once looked down in complete horror before you go out and notice you have white deodorant all over your clothes, not a good look!

Hair Dye Disaster

I felt the need for a change and decided it was time to dye my hair, nothing drastic just to make the colour more lighter and o my god what a disaster!!! It all started off so well and ended so wrong! I have dyed my hair several times before but every time i go for a different make this time i went for Wella, a very summery colour that should of turned out light brown. I went along with all the directions on the box and made sure i applied it evenly throughout my hair after 20 minutes of torture, the smell is repulsive, i washed the dye off and dried my hair. I was shocked to see the end result, in some places it was light and other places dark in large circles. The worst was having to step out in public to get to my hairdressers FAST for advice and a re-dye. Anyone who is going to use this hair dye be very careful and do not be surprised if it turns out to be a disaster, you have been warned!

Look Fabulous!

My skin is getting extremely oily now the sun has decided to come out so it was time to start taking more care of my skin. I have been using Dermalogica products for a while now so i decided to try there masques out, i eventually chose the skin refining masque…this is an oil-absorbing masque that helps to remove impurities and refine the skin’s surface. I put it on my face and let it do the job for 10 minutes and my skin instantly went soft and oil free. I have only used it twice but i have not had any oil-skin breakouts, so that is a good start! I would recommend this masque to anyone with oily skin, the masque is not the cheapest at £16.80 for a 75ml tube at Jersey Beauty Company (a great saving!), but you sometimes have to pay the price for beauty. Perfume

What I notice with perfume is that you can smell it on someone and it smells really good, you go and buy it for yourself and it smells completely different. So annoying!!! When perfume shopping always take a trusted friend with you for there opinion, I usually spray on my wrist leave it for 15 mins and go back to buy it if I still like the smell as it is so hard to make a decision when you instantly spray as it is to strong.

Everyone has a “trademark scent” and I always go for Gucci Rush at weekends, most of my friends wear this fragrance and it smells lovely on everyone. I have been wearing it for years now and have no intensions of changing. It’s a really feminine scent without being to heavy and overpowering. It suits all ages so I would definitely recommend this perfume if you are struggerling to find one.
