Givenchy Play Fragrance For Men
August 11, 2008
Givenchy will launch their new fragrance for men this coming September.
Givenchy Play contains notes of vetiver, mandarin, pink pepper and bergamont, which gives it a masculine feel with a fresh edge.
The design is really cool in a funky iPod-style bottle with ‘forward’ and ‘rewind’ bottles, with cafalonium frame and rubber button to press and will be available in 100 ml bottles.
The one and only Justin Timberlake is the face of the fragrance and the shoot for the campaign is hopefully as sexy as the smell!

EIGHT HOUR CREAM - Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
Created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective is a combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E. The apricot colored balm was so beneficial to her clients, Miss Arden used it to soothe her famous thoroughbred horses’ legs. Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance - a loyal client used it to treat her child’s skinned knee and “eight hours later” the skin was all better.

Dancing Queens
August 7, 2008
Its not easy to be glamorous when your dancing your socks off on the dance floor, ok maybe you Glastonbury revelers might be happy sitting in mud all day, drinking beer and wearing no make-up but the true dancing queens attending the Global Gatherings and Creamfields will be a little more high maintenance.
If this bank holiday you are heading to the festivals you need to stand out from the crowd while you are raving until the early hours.
Firstly wear a dramatic colour eyeshadow, Rimmel have a fab range of bright, electric colours and they stay put on your eyelids for the night. Eyeliner is a must have, it makes your eyes look more dramatic and wear a decent mascara to bring out your eyelashes. I would definitely not wear any foundation as it is will get messy, but if you have to wear it use a small amount of mineral make-up and last but not least a good lip gloss.
Have fun!

Return of the discontinued item…
August 6, 2008
It can be a very traumatic time when your much loved cant live without foundation or favourite lipstick is discontinued. Panic over! Help is now at hand with a British make up company Cosmetics a la Carte that will recreate the exact colour from powder to eye shadows.
The process is really straight forward they will send three colour samples directly to your home for you to test and if you are not happy with the colour they will change until the colour is what you are looking for. It takes around 4 weeks and ok it’s a little pricey at £175 but to repeat orders are £45. Call 020 7622 2318 or visit http://www.cosmeticsalacarte.com

In a hurry and do not have time to wash your hair???
August 5, 2008
Look no further all you need is Bastiste Dry Shampoo! This stuff is fantastic for all you busy bees. You simply spray all over your hair (this will leave you looking like you have been rolling your head around in dust all day), massage in your hair and leave for a few minutes then brush out. It will leave you hair feeling soft, clean and smelling fresh.
I hate, hate, hate greasy hair. People always say that if you don’t wash your hair everyday it would stop getting greasy so quickly, it’s a vicious circle, apparently. That is why Basiste dry shampoo is the perfect solution.
I would not recommend using this product every day but it is perfect for emergencies though.
You can by Batiste products at most Boots store for only £2.09

Be ultra chic like Agyness Deyn
August 4, 2008
One of the most copied hair styles has to go to Agyness Deyn . Hairdressers are now in demand for “The Aggy” with some claiming the look is this decade’s answer to “The Rachel”. Recently the 25 year old supermodel has sparked a trend in celebs copying the look, Pixie Geldof and Kimberley Stewart have been sporting the ultra cool chop.
The Aggy hair exemplifies my short-hair ideals: cute, relaxed, cool and ruffleable and funky.
To create ‘ The Aggy’ you have to use products that give texture and movement to avoid that over-styled look. A product that i would highly recommend is Jonathan Product Dirt, it is a texturising paste that will give your hair a “lived-in” feel without making your hair greasy. If you are looking for full on attitude you should try Bed Head Cocky it is by far the best hair product out there to give hair movement. To complete the look using a heat retaining brush gradually brushing the hair to the side whilst drying to give maximum shine and take out the texture.

The Super-Duper Corioliss C2 Straighteners
August 1, 2008
Sexy, cool and extremely stylish! Update your style with the Corioliss C2 straighteners!
After spotting these straightners I just had to buy them. I went for the Rock & Roll Mouth and I am in love! This was a pretty daring for me as I am a true dedicated GHD girl and thought nothing would ever beat them.
Before I bought these beauties I have never heard of Corioliss and after using them I don’t know how I have never heard of them as they are fantastic and just as good as GHD’s. They are perfect for making your hair poker straight, curls and waves and the bonus is that they have a temperature control with them. The straightneers are really slim with a long cord, which is great, stops the strain on the wires which is the common cause of straightener breakage.
At £120 they are pretty expensive but soooooooooooo worth it!
