Maybe its NOT Maybelline
December 19, 2008
I always like to have a change so after seeing pictures of the Maybelline matte mousse foundation I thought I would give it a go as it looked stunning (on the pictures it did anyway!)
So as you have probably gathered I am about to have a rant and will definitely not be recommending this foundation to anyone!
This foundation is hard, hard work to put on, most foundations glide onto your face and blend in really well; this one is like putting thick dirt on your face, it does not blend in and has no moisture to it. It is impossible to get a flawless finish and flakes off your face its that dry and creates very attractive darker patches …perfect for fancy dress as a clown though!
The worst is that it is so thick and gross that it rubbed off all over my clothes and after 2 washes it is still stained!
So after using this once it now has a new home…in my bin!

The perfect gift for your burger loving man…
December 18, 2008
I have come across the grossest fragrance EVER!…Burger King, yes this is not a typo error, Burger King that fast food place that sells greasy burgers and chips have launched there own collagen for men! Sexy, er, no! I know it is a trend to have your own perfume brand these days with Z-Lists celebrities jumping at the chance and even Hollyoaks has its own scent but why o why have Burger King jumped on the wagon.
When I first heard about this I thought it was someone pulling my leg but nope its 100% the truth.
It will come to no surprise that the name of the fragrance is Flame and get ready for the sickest vilest thing ever it actually does smell of burgers!!! Ewwwwwwwwwww!
Is it just me or is this the most disgusting fragrance ever???
It supposedly beholds the scent for seduction, with a hint of flame-boiled meat…Yummy! If a guy came near my smelling of this crap I think I would hurl. Where the hell have they got the idea from that us ladies want a man to smell of meat and oil?
So if you want your man to smell like a dead cow for the day you can buy the cologne online as it is only sold in the US at present for £2.50!
Pleeeeeeeeeease don’t do it though, there is nothing sexy about this!!!

MD Formulation – The Answer To Clear Skin
December 17, 2008
If you have read my blogs you have probably now gathered that I suffer from oily skin and i am always trying new products to help keep the shine down. My aunty is a make-up artist so I am constantly bending her ear as to what new products she has been trying and if they are any good. So when she highly recommended that I should use MD Formulation Facial Cleansing Gel for Oily Skin I was out the next day buying one and I cant believe I am saying this but It is very close to taking over my Dermalogica products!
It is tricky to find there products as it is an American company but most beauty salons sell them. So if you are going to America make sure you stock up as it’s much cheaper, you are looking to pay around £20.00 to £30.00 for a bottle here!
As a teenager my skin was pretty atrocious and i had the worst acne possible. I don’t really suffer now but I do get the odd outburst every now and then and suffer from blemishes so I have to give my skin a lot of TLC. Since I have been using MD Formulation my skin has cleared up and surprisingly I have not had an outburst since I have been using this product.
I only use this cleanser every night time when I am removing my make-up. I add a small amount to the palm of my hands and massage into my face for around 2 minutes, you don’t even need to use eye make-up remover as it removes it for you, I then rinse my face around 10 times and your skin is left feeling squeaky clean. It removes all excess oil, balance oil reduction, reduce the appearance of enlarge pores and I have noticed all of these improved within my skin and i am left with a much healthier, clearer complexion.
One thing that I can only have a very little moan about is that when I went on the sunbed after using the cleanser I burnt my face but it does state that it is sensitive to sunlight so its my own fault for not reading the packaging before I went on the sunbed.
So if you are suffering from bad acne or have acne scaring and blemishes you really do have to try this product. It has been a miracle for me and I will most certainly continue using MD Formulation and invest in more of there range. Even though it is expensive for a face wash it is worth every penny and good value for money as the bottle lasts for months.

Kissable lips…
December 16, 2008
Not long until Christmas now so its time to pull out the mistletoe and kiss as many hotties as possible!
At the moment I do seem to have a secret obsession with lip plumping glosses! So once again I have purchased yet another lip plumper! I think it must be because I am so intrigued if some gloss can really pump up your lips without having my lips injected with cow fat…nice! So if I can find an easy way to do it and it works, bonus!
Anyway less of my rant what you really have to know about is that I have found one that WORKS! Ok so it’s only temporary and does sting a little but wow does it make your lips look kissable!
I bought a very small stick of Too Faced Lip Injection and I don’t think I will ever need to try any other lip pumper again it has cured by obsession! I only add a small amount to my lips and within the seconds you feel a pulse in your lips and a slight tingle and it is pretty amazing the difference it makes to the fullness of your lips. Within a minute you will have plumped up lips and the colour is fab with a slight pink and really glossy!
Before I bought this lip plumper I have never heard of Too Faced, I come across there very cute website and thought I would give it a try at only $18.50, it would be rude to not buy one! Now I will definitely be going back and trying out more of there make-up products!
So for all you thinned lipped women out there wanting the sexiest of pouts this Christmas you have to use Two Faced!

Alexandra Burke – A beautiful star has been created!
December 15, 2008
I have been hooked to the X Factor from day 1 and was glued to my seat all evening Saturday. Even though my boys didn’t win (JLS of course!) I was kind of pleased for Alexandra Burke winning and her performance with Beyonce was pretty breath taking but what I found most impressive with Alexandra was her transformation.
Alexandra has gone from a very average looking girl to a full on beauty queen. She looks amazing!
Simon Cowell made sure all the finalist did undergo a bit of a beauty regime before the live shows started but Alexandra has definitely benefited the most from this.
You can tell a mile away that she has had her teeth whitened, hair tamed, skin brightened and tanned…i think I will have to apply for the X Factor next year with all these perks!
If you don’t have the cash to flash like Mr.Cowell then you can give yourself an X Factor makeover on a budget.
Try the below and you will feel as glam as the X Factor girls:
Skin Brightener – Try using L’Oreal Dermo Expertise ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion Kit.
Fake Tan – Trusty Fake Bake – adored by many celebrities and leaves you streak free! Is a must have for ever girl wanting to stand out.
Hair Gloss – Fudge hair products. When your hair catches the light using these products it is guaranteed to shine and give you star quality!
Teeth Whitener – Pearl Drop Hollywood Smile Whitening Toothpaste – gives you a Hollywood smile in 3 weeks!

Keep healthy this winter with vitamins
December 12, 2008
I am suffering from the winter blues and my skin is not looking its best. I have never been a vitamin user and after speaking to my friend and asking how her skin is constantly glowing I was pretty surprised to hear that she puts it all down to vitamins.
The vitamins she takes daily are Antioxidant vitamins that clean up all of the free radials in our body. After doing some research I found out the free radicals damage our organs and cause us to look and feel older. Unfortunately our bodies produce these naturally and increases when exposed to pollution, stress, cigarettes and eating badly. So if you take a antioxidants, you will be protecting your health of your vital organs and most importantly you will keep your skin looking young and maintaining your youthful good looks and stay beautiful for longer…sold!
So I have started taking these and eating plenty of fruit and veg and to be honest I have noticed a huge difference in skin.
Other Vitamins that are worth taking to keep to healthy are:
Vitamin A:
Helps with growth, eyesight and healthy skin.
Vitamin C:
Good for your immune system. Helps wounds heal and absorbs iron.
Vitamin D:
Stronger bones.
Folic acid:
Very important before and after pregnancy.

December 10, 2008
I am having one of my moments where I want to make a few changes and one of them is to have a tattoo!
I am having a huge debate though as to what to go for. I have a huge crush on Cheryl Cole at the moment and I do seem to have fallen in love with her tattoo on her hand, looks painful but I think it is worth the pain.
Do you think that the tattoo looks common or pretty?
So please, please, please let me know what you think of the below tattoos to help me decide the best one to go for or if you think of any more let me know:
- Pattern on hand aka Cheryl Cole

- Stars on my wrist

- Pattern on my ankle and my foot

Diamonds – every girl’s best friend!
December 9, 2008
I received a bottle of Armani Diamonds for my birthday and wow its lovely!
One small squirt and I was in love, this definitely tops my list as my favourite fragrance now.
The smell is really fresh with a sexy twist and you only need a small squirt and it lasts for hours before you need a re-spray to it and the bottle is shaped as a diamond and looks very glamorous on your dressing table.
I will mainly use this perfume for going out in but it is definitely an every day one too! It instantly makes you feel feminine and you are guaranteed to be commented on how lovely you smell!
So ladies it is getting near Christmas so start dropping some hints to your partners!!!

Chin up!
December 8, 2008
Its December and already I see a double chin developing, yikes!!! I put it down to stuffing my face with mince pies and drinking much more than I would usually…well it is the season to be celebrating!
So before Christmas I need to make sure I do not look like the turkey on Christmas day and achieve an angled jaw without having to give up on the food and drink.
Follow these “cheats” and you can guarantee you will have a beautiful jaw line and will not be dreading the camera coming out:
Make-up is the perfect cheat way to create a perfect jaw line. The best thing to do is put a subtle shade of matte bronzer around the contour of your jaw and it will create the illusion of a strong jaw line. Make sure you there is no line between where the makeup ends and the natural skin begins.
My little secret is using Clarins Countouring Facial Lift. I add a small amount to my face every night before I go bed and it helps to tighten and lift my face. Make sure you use it every night and you will notice that your jaw line will become more firm.
If you have cash to flash and are happy to pay around £3,500 you can go for the nip/tuck neck lifts that remove the fat by liposuction, ouch, I think I will be sticking to the easy, painfree option.
