Time to stump out the cigs

New year, new you…if you are a smoker it is time to quit. Not only is smoking a dirty habit it also plays havoc with your skin!
It doesn’t take rocket science to know that smoking is a terrible habit to start and most people think that the only damage caused by smoking is lung cancer but there is much worse side effects such as yellow fingernails and teeth, premature ageing, skin dryness, blemishes and dull lifeless hair…ugly, ugly, ugly!
If you are a smoker there is a good chance that you are going to have problems with your hair. It is mainly down to the chemicals in the cigarettes that starve your hair from oxygen meaning it goes brittle and you will never achieve a glossy, salon look hair do. I have also heard of people who’s hair has started to break off. The worst is that when you smoke it is impossible for your hair to smell clean and fresh…who really wants to get a whiff of hair that smells like you have smothered your hair in a nicotine wrap.
For sake of a cigarette is it really worth all these side effects and adding all those years on yourself!
If you are to quit smoking the damage you have already caused will gradually be repaired, for instance your yellow, nicotine nails will go back to there natural colour, you will stop smelling like you have bathed in an astray, your skin will get its glow back and you are less likely to get any more wrinkles around your mouth and eyes .
Most people i no who smoke look years older as they have wrinkles round there eyes and mouth from squinting when they smoke and they are only in there twenties. Think how bad they are going to look in there thirties! It completely ruins your complexion and makes your skin colour greyish.
It is not hard to give up and if you want to stay youthful and smell lovely you have to do it now before it is to late there are a number of smoking cessation courses out there that can help you. So start now for a healthier more beautiful you!
