Radiant Glow
February 15, 2009
My auntie is a make-up artist so obviously i am always rummaging through her make-up kit to pinch samples and i have found the best powder pearls that give you an amazing glow by Prescriptives Winter Reflections All-Over-Highlighter Pearls.
The pot consists of loads of mini pearls in three different shades of rose, peach and white. If you get a big blusher brush and apply over your face it will leave you will an all-over-glow.
They give you the most beautiful complexion and i know i will definitely be stocking up on more of these when i run out. They will also be perfect for a summer day when you don’t want to cape your face in make-up but want add shimmer to your look.

NEVER match your listick with your outfit
February 13, 2009
I recently wrote a blog raving about Lady GaGa and her wacky style and her much loved minnie mouse hair bow but I think she has gone one step to far with her ‘unique’ look!
I really don’t like the the matching your lips with your outfit look. What I am more intregued by is where the hell did she buy that colour lipstick from, surely you cant buy that colour in the shops anymore?!?
And Miss GaGa whats going on…where has the real hair bow gone???
Do you think that Lady GaGa is loosing her style and going a little bonkers or do you see it is refreshing new face on the pop scene injecting some much needed colour?

Oily skin suffers
February 12, 2009
I can cause major problems with your skin if you suffer with oily skin. If you do suffer from oily skin you are more likely to have more spots and when you apply your make-up it would of slide off your face within a couple of hours.
Thanks to Korres this could be a thing of the past! It’s a new pomegranate cleansing scrub that has been designed to reduce pore size and strengthen the skin’s condition, while naturally derived olive stone grains slough away excess subum and calendula extracts.
I know that I will most definitely be purchasing the product very soon ready for summer when my skin goes extremely oily.
At only £14.00 it is a must have for problem skin!

Eye candy in your make-up bag
February 11, 2009
If your clothes and handbags look ultra cool to finish your look you need your make-up compacts to look just as hot!
I have come across some of the best compacts EVER that will make you feel glamorous every time you pull out of your bag for a touch up!!!
Here are a few that have caught my eye:
This is in a league of its own and i don’t think i have ever come across such a brilliant, blingy bronzer. It is not cheap at £160.00 but worth every penny! The logo speaks for itself and can be purchased from Rock & Republic.

Summer is nearly here, well i like to pretend that anyway! If you want to feel summery the perfect palette to brighten up your day is from Paul & Joe.
Paul & Joe Beaute Eye Colour Palette - £28.00

If you love your designer brands i am sure Pucci will be one of your favourites! Why not colour coordinate your Pucci clothing with Estee Lauder Limited Edition Fuchsia Now Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder, £24.47.
A definite must have…

We all love a freebie
February 10, 2009
I am a bit of an addict come Tuesdays and I am straight out to buy my weekly supply of magazines. I love flicking through the pictures of celebrities and finding out what new beauty products are out.
One thing that I think is brill though is that the magazines give out free promotional gifts! Don’t you just love it when people give away free goodies to promote new things? I have a draw dedicated to sachets of beauty products, yes some are crap but at least I know never to buy the product in the shop but some are really good, if it wasn’t for OK magazine I would of never of tried out John Frieda shampoo and now its my must-have thanks to a free promotional sachet.
It’s a good way of trying out a new shampoo, foundation or smelling a fragrance without having to buy it first. There has been so many times when I have bought something just because I am intrigued and it’s turned out to be a waste of money and made its way to the bin.
Another place I have found some freebies or really good offers is The Sun newspaper. There is a page dedicated to discounts and free samples…it would be rude not to try some!
Why pay when you can get for free!!!

New Anti-Cellulite treatment
February 9, 2009
The Sanctuary already has a fab collection and have now launched a new anti-cellulite treatment.
I have not tried it myself but will be heading to Boots soon to buy some, hopefully it smells just as scrumptious as the rest of there range.
It is aimed at targeting different problem areas and helps burn fat on the inside whilst visibly improving the skin on the outside…perfect what more could us ladies ask for!

Beautiful lips…
February 8, 2009
I love Ted Baker clothes, especially there dresses and coats but have never looked over there beauty range.
When I was in Ted Baker the other week I just could not leave the beautiful compact lippy kit. It looks sooo cute and for only £6.36 you get an oval mirror, double-ended brush, 4 stunning colours and a glossy topcoat for the ultimate shine.
I have tried nearly every colour on separate occasions now and it stays in place and doesn’t need to be re-applied on the hour!

It’s all about Lady GaGa
February 6, 2009
If you haven’t heard of Lady GaGa you really are missing out! Every magazine I read, every music station I listen to is all playing Just Dance or writing about Lady GaGa and her wacky and slightly bonkers hair styles to her very little clothing that involves of PVC cat suits, bra tops and leotards.
I must say I am loving the Minnie-mouse inspired hair! I think it looks wicked so after spending a couple of hours playing with my hair I have now mastered the bow.
I don’t think I will be wearing my hair like this to nip to Tesco to do my shopping but I would definitely hit a club with it in.
Follow my step by step guide to create the look:
Firstly scrape your hair into a ponytail on top of your head and tie with a thin bobble
Fold the pony tail in half and tie in the middle with an elastic band and pull your hair either side of the bow and blast with dry shampoo, if you want to be super cool put a clip into the centre where the elastic band is.
And voila – you have a bow! How easy!
