July 23, 2009
If you are in a panic to blitz your body in preparation for a holiday that seems to of sneaked up on you very fast here is a cheats way to start quick and go away feeling fabulous:
Beauty prep:
Book in for some body treatments, I would highly recommend an intensive massage, request a massage that helps break down fatty deposits and disperse water retention.
If you have 4 weeks until your holiday invest in a Slimming Belt, Gwyneth Paltrow’s secret weapon for battling her post-pregnancy baby bulge, enough said!
Packing:
If you are going on a long-haul trip, Clarins Anti Eau Oil is a must-have as you will know sitting on a plain for hours is going to cause puffy ankles and swollen stomachs. If you rub Clarins over your legs and stomach before the flight it will it help deflate puffiness.
Having firmed your figure beforehand, keep it in great shape while away with Lancaster Sun Slim. Packed with cellulite-eradicating ingredients, including the antioxidant Yerba.
To look the part arriving at the airport sexy luggage is a must have and also make sure you have reliable luggage for your beauty treatments. I have just purchased my Roxy Luggage and its stunning! I cant wait to turn up at the airport with my arm candy!
Face:
When you are on holiday you have to keep your make-up to the minimum nothing is wo4rse than seeing a face full of slap in the sun, if you are in the sun wearing make-up there is a good chance it will streak, not a pretty look! All you need is a good lipgloss and mascara!
Also remove any excess facial hair before heading into the sun as strong light only serves to highlight a downy upper lip and stray hairs scattered over chins and cheeks. Threading is ideal for getting rid of unwanted hair as it removes hair by the root, leaving skin smoother for longer, Try Blink Bar.
Hair:
To give hair sexy waves, try Synchrone Soft Wave. Lasting just six weeks, this semi-permanent process introduces a gentle curl into poker-straight hair, giving manageable movement to even coloured and highlighted hair. Perfect for a high-impact, low-maintenance look just for the summer.
Or try clip-on hair extensions add instant glamour!
Nails:
Give your nails some TLC with a manicure.
If you book in for the above asap you are guaranteed to go away feeling a million dollars!

Eyelash Extensions
July 22, 2009
Unfortunately not everyone is blessed with lushes long eyelashes aka Cheryl Cole and even a ton of mascara everyday will not give you the look you dream of. Now that could be a thing of the past as you can now get individual false eyelashes fitted to your lashes, what a god send hey!
Individual lashes instantly make your lashes thicker and longer! The price varies but many beauty salons are now offering the treatment for under £100, I think this is a bargain especially if your eyelashes are making you lack in confidence and unhappy.
The good thing with these lashes is that you can choose the look and colour that you want to achieve. I am going to get mine done before I head off on my holiday as I don’t have to worry about applying my waterproof mascara if I have natural lashes. I am going to ask for a natural look but with volume in the corner of my eye and for them to be jet black.
So say hello to longer, thicker, natural looking lashes!

Trend Alert…Blue Nail Varnish
July 21, 2009
The latest nail varnish colour to be seen in is blue! Celebrities are going crazy for the colour and it has been spotted on the nails of the stunning Hills girls, Eve Mendes and Fearne Cotton.
I must admit when I first looked at a blue nail varnish I was debating for a while but it has grown on me now and looks fab especially on a summer’s day in a pretty dress. It is a fun colour and is more youthful than a dark colour and a little different from red.
I went for the trusty OPI No Room for the Blues nail polish at £9.95 you could probably find one cheaper but it is fab and doesn’t chip.
Would you wear it???

John Frieda’s shampoo and conditioner
July 20, 2009
I am a huge fan of John Frieda’s products but not on a daily basis!!!
For a week solid I have been shampooing and conditioning my hair every night with John Frieda’s brilliant brunette and OMG my hair is ruined! I usually have soft, frizz-free hair after I have straightened and added my hair products but not now, it is now a huge afro that is bushy and frizzy and I know it is because I have used John Frieda every night on the run because this has never happened and the only thing I am doing different is using John Frieda every day.
I am not slating John Frieda shampoo and conditioner as if you use it at weekends only you will look glam and have the best locks on the dance floor but for everyday shampoo and conditioner it is utter garbage.
For your everyday shampoo and conditioner you should stick to Herbel Essence or Dove, one that really foams your hair up and gives it a good intense clean!

Perfect Treat for the perfect Make-up Pro
July 17, 2009
I was lucky enough to get a Bobbi Brown make-over this weekend and the sucker I am I walked away with every bloody product they used on me! I am not complaining though as I am in love with all of it and a girl can never have to many beauty products.
With Bobbi Brown not only is there range fantastic it also looks so attractive and I feel very smug pulling my Bobbi Brown palette out of my bag to re-touch my make-up.
One thing I noticed when I was in there was a BBU Palette this would not benefit myself but would work wonders for the pros. It is a limited-edition palette that includes pans of every Bobbi Brown shade of foundation, concealer and corrector. There is also an empty palette for mixing your own shades together, genius!
At £156.59 it is not cheap but it is the ultimate dream for a professional make-up artist!
