Neon Yellow or Electric Green Leather Jackets! Stylish or Not?

The African National Congress of South Africa will do anything to give their people a sense of identity. But are neon and luminous leather jackets going one step too far? Historically, leather jackets have often been a symbol of professionalism, or success, particularly amongst the black population of South Africa. These new jackets, coloured green, gold and black (largely the colours of the South African flag), are not perhaps everyone’s cup of tea. There are a total of 19 men’s and ladies leather jackets with detail including glowing buttons, electric green patches, yellow neon zippers with the jackets completed by the ANC party logo.

The designs are meant to give party members a sense of “identity”, but opinion suggests they are not that popular amongst the younger generation.

A BBC report quotes popular fashion designer Thula Sindi. He says:

“I wouldn’t be caught dead in them. It all just looks like patchwork…I don’t think anybody younger than 40 would wear that, out of fear of being ridiculed.”

I suggest sticking to popular leather jackets if you want to look cool and fashionable – colours such as black and brown will always be in. Neon yellow and electric green are not fashionable now, and never will be!!!

G Star

It was my partners birthday last week and i was looking everywhere for a decent pair of jeans that actually fit him to perfection and makes his bum look pert! A must of looked at every brand of jeans and was failing dramatically until i come across a pair of G Star jeans seriously these jeans are hot!

What i love most about G Star jeans is that they fit perfect and the colour denim i went for is washed out making them look more eye catching. Another bonus that comes with a pair of G Stars jeans is that they are cheap compared to a pair of Diesel jeans you can but two pairs of G Stars for the price of one Diesel pair.

Not only are there gents jeans super sexy there women’s are too, that good that even had to buy a pair for myself. I went for a casual pair that are perfect for weekend chill outs, they fit perfect round my waste and are pretty baggy at the bottom meaning i can slip on a pair of comfy trainers underneath! Perfect!

So if you are having difficulties looking for a sexy pair of jeans for your man look no further…

Jazzy Shoes

I have got so many pairs of skinny jeans in numerous different colours and if i am wearing them on a night out i will wear a pair of killer heals or if i am wearing them day-to-day i will wear them with over the knee boots or short pixie boots but i have come across a selection at office that i absolutely love!

When you are next in Office shoe shop look out for the floral lace up pumps. They are bang on trend with the floral pattern and will look really cool teamed up with your skinny jeans or even a pretty floral dress.

I would buy them quick though as i can imagine these selling out quick as they are guaranteed to be snapped up ready for Spring!

Nude

A colour that i thought i could never pull off was nude, i just thought the colour would make me looked washed out but as it seems to be a massive trend right now i thought i would give it a go and i was surprised that i actually really like it!

I have not gone to OTT on the nude i went for a lace, nude top and i have paired it with a black skirt and black belt with a gold loop in the middle. To finish the look i went for a pair of nude heels and what i love about these shoes is that because they are nude they make my legs look soooooo long, perfect!

If you are going to buy nude i would definitely recommend paring it with black as it keeps it modern and chic!

Lace

One trend i love at the moment is lace i can’t get enough of it i have already bought 3 cami’s a dress and a couple of tops!

Wearing lace makes me feel sophisticated and glamorous especially when added with some red lipstick!
Lace is in nearly every shop now all with a great collection, if you are looking for a fab lace dress for a night out i would recommend looking in Miss Selfridge, prices are reasonable and there collection is stunning, you will most definite find the perfect dress!

If you are not to keen on the whole wearing lace as clothing then go for a lace clutch bag to add an extra fashion statement to your outfit!

Autumn Fashion

Even though the temperature is still in the minus ladies Autumn is very nearly here, hurray!

I have looking over the Autumn collection and i am in love! This Autumn its all about flowers, very girly and elegant and they are going to be on everything from pretty skirts to glamorous dresses and classy blouses.

Most high street shops have started stocking up on the trend already and i have found the most amazing dress in Topshop, i am going to buy it now and wear it with tights and ankle boots to keep my legs warm until the weather starts to shine and i can get my pins out with a pair of sandals!

Hurry up summer!!!
