How to prevent shaving rash
November 13, 2008
How god damn annoying are shaving rashes! There are many ways to prevent a shaving rash leaving you with smooth skin after a shave.
It is all about how you use your razor to keep yourself smooth and rash free!
Ladies just because winter is here that means no excuse for sticking your razor away until Summer arrives again!
Follow my step-by-step guide below to super smooth pins:
Do not shave in the opposite direction to which your hair grows. If you hair grow downwards, pull the razor downwards and vice versa.
Use a triple-blade razor. Using a single blade does not give a close shave! Triple blades give you a close shave leaving you stubble free. Make sure the razor is flexible so say goodbye to your old school BIC if you own one.
It is easy said than done but do not pull the skin when you are shaving. If you do this you will most likely notice that you have a lot of in growing hairs.
NEVER dry shave, you have to prepare your skin with a shaving gel before hand. Do not use soap it dries out your skin and is a big no no for shaving. When you have applied the shaving cream leave for a few seconds to let the hairs soften.
When you have finished shaving slather the area in moisturiser to ensure that it does not dry the skin.
If you follow the above you will have soft lefts and notice that you will not suffer from dreaded stubble after!
