Vanish puffy eyes on a budget…

All those late nights do eventually catch up with you and leaving you with puffy eyes! This can then lead to you looking tired all the time!

Puffiness is not just caused by late nights it can also be down to crying, if you’re menstruating or pregnant, retaining food, eating salty food or drinking water less than two hours before bed.

The worst thing you can do is rub your tired eyes, this is only going to make them worse!

Eyes that are bright and sparkling draw attention!

If you are suffering from puffy eyes there is no need to rush out and hit the beauty counters these simples tips will leave your eyes looking more awake and vanish the bags…

1.    Cucumber slices
This is by the far the best way to remove puffiness out of your eyes. Make sure you leave the cucumber in your fridge over night and cut into slices and place on your eyes. The cool temperature and astringent effect can help to constrict the skin blood vessels and this works to remove puffiness and dark circles caused by dilated blood vessels.

2.    Raw Potato Slices
Not many people know that raw potato skin works wonders for removing circles and relief puffy eye. For best results mix into a bowl of basil and dab the potato slices onto your closed eyes.

3.    Tea Bags
Get a black tea bag that contains caffeine, place on your eyes and relax. The natural astringent in tea – tannin works a treat.

4.    Milk
Soak a cotton wool pad in cold mile and place the pads on your eyes. This will reduce puffiness and also brighten the whites of your eye.

The above will help and you will definitely notice results but you also need to try and sleep as much as possible as lack of sleep always shows in your eyes. Also try and avoid salty foods like chips, peanuts and alcohol as it retains the fluid that settles in the eye area.
